What would you expect to happen when you place water inside a hard, plastic, o-ringed waterproof case? Would you expect water to come out? Would that have you questioning what the definition of waterproof means to the manufacturer. A ziploc baggie is more ';waterproof'; than a hard case. The manufacturer has replaced my 5 cases, twice! They still leak, alot!! and they said they tested them first before sending. Why waterproof cases aren't?
usually the seals on cases are designed so that the lip of the seal is facing outwards so that water cannot enter the case, but the case may not keep water in if it is designed to keep water out. If your trying to keep water into a case thats meant to keep it out, it may not work. You can try a case with a different type of seal?.Why waterproof cases aren't?
i dont care if they say they are waterproof you cant believe everything you read
I believe those case are supposed to keep water OUT not IN...I bought one from Otterbox.com for my 60GB iPod along with a set of waterproof headphones and I've been in the pool all summer with it. It hasn't given me a problem at all. Perhaps you should buy from a different manufacturer.
It may be an OE.
or an Id10t problem.
