Camera waterproof case? 10 points!?

Does anyone know whether or not waterproof cases work well for finepix cameras(I have a z100fd)? What's the difference between waterproof cases and underwater housing?

Also should I get a memory card for it? Or is the internal memory really big?Camera waterproof case? 10 points!?
Waterproof cases are a generic term for any sort of underwater protection. They can soft or hard cases. Generally, an ';underwater housing'; is a hard case, is expensive, and is fitted to a specific camera.

An inexpensive case would be a soft case like these:

And yes, you should get a memory card. Internal memory is never big and you can always take more photos with an extra memory card.Camera waterproof case? 10 points!?
Waterproof cases will let you stand in the rain. Underwater housing is good to about 130' under the surface. There is a lot of pressure down there. Even at 10 feet underwater, you can feel the pressure in your ears. So if you want to go underwater, get the WP-FXZ100 housing and forget about it. No worries. Yes, you should get a memory card, maybe even two. Get a couple of 1GB cards (cheap) and have some fun!
