Is the olympus stylus 560wp digital waterproof camera actually waterproof or just come with a case that is?

we saw a boxing day ad for this camera but my husband thinks it might just be a regular digital camera with a 'waterproof' case. has anyone seen this camera in person? is the camera itself waterproof? we're having a hard time finding info on it online.

the oly stylus 550wp is a waterproof camera, not a camera inside a clear case. it is similar, but less expensive than the stylus 8000 ';tough';.





i have this camera and like it very much. if you plan to use this in the water, i recommend you get the optional floatation strap. it will sink if you let go underwater and is only waterproof to 10 foot depth.Is the olympus stylus 560wp digital waterproof camera actually waterproof or just come with a case that is?
