Generally, yes. Depending on the type of camera, there are one size fits most cases and there are model specific cases. Just don't skimp if you spent more than what you make in a day on your camera. Nothing's foolproof, and water and electronics do not play well together. For many models there are dedicated cases with buttons perfectly positioned, but there are many for which there are no such compatible dedicated case. There are some more generic underwater housings that can fit a variety of cameras. Those require pushing the buttons through the clear, soft plastic, and are less user friendly than the dedicated cases.
